Matthew Henry (October 18, 1662 – June 22, 1714) was an English Presbyterian minister who wrote the six-volume Exposition of the Old and New Testaments (1708–1710), which provided an exhaustive verse by verse study of the Bible, covering The Old Testament, The Gospels and The Acts of the Apostles in the New Testament.
